CAITLIN STORHAUG

Founder & Certified Leadership Coach

After years spent building and managing high-performing global teams at large organizations like Accenture and McKinsey, I took my leadership lessons and went back to school. I graduated from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and work as a certified leadership coach serving individual and corporate clients.

My coaching helps leaders manage change, growth and opportunity as they seek to move ahead more intentionally. I coach senior executives and aspiring leaders in the private and non-profit sectors. I’m told I excel in creating psychological safety that fosters trust and action.

I focus on transitions, team building, communications, narrative & personal branding, media training, interview prep and executive presence. I’m open for individual, team and corporate coaching and work with clients across functions and industries. I am skilled at facilitating team meetings, retreats and strategy sessions, and helping non-profit leaders and boards work more effectively. I also offer interview prep and media training.

WHY I COACH

I chose coaching to use my experience, skills and interests to benefit people and organizations aiming for better results and better careers. Coaching is present and future-focused and action-oriented - all words that describe me and how I move through the world. Coaching offers support in a way that is unlike mentoring or therapy and helps people uncover and articulate their goals, the barriers to them, and their vision for their future.

In my corporate career, I was sought after to advise senior leaders and got great satisfaction from being a strategist, thought partner, and trusted listener. I take these skills into coaching where c-level clients need a third-party, a neutral advisor, and someone to ask them good questions with no agenda except to help.

Another focus of my coaching is helping people at the director/VP level as those are incredibly vital roles but often get less support than c-suite execs. Having worked at that level myself, I know the opportunities and challenges these roles offer as well as the support I benefited from and the support I can offer clients.

I've been in the trenches of big jobs in big orgs. I've had the best managers, incredible teams and almost limitless potential and I've also weathered tough times, difficult people and disappointment. I bring all of this to Altitude Coaching and my clients.
